The security of a network is very important to keep private data private. But what happens when we can not secure our network or network security system is too weak so it is very easy to be infiltrated by people who are not responsible. Therefore we must create a strong and difficult security system, using the technology at the moment we can tell it to be real. The most important thing we should do is "do not be careless".

Before securing the network we will recognize the crime of security intrusions and other kinds of network security:
1.      Types of Network Security Disorders
§  Carding, ie data theft against one's banking identity. examples of credit card number thefts are used for online shopping.
§  Sniffer, Equipment that can monitor the process of data being
Takes place.
§  Phreaking, Behavior makes the phone security system weakened.
§  Physing, which is a forgery of official data.
§  Deface, ie changes to the shape or appearance of the website.
§  Hacking, ie destruction of existing computer network infrastructure.
many types of network security impediments that are applied by irresponsible people but just be quiet buddy, there are many kinds of network security tiger and network security tips that can be applied in our network security system.

2.      Types of Network Security
§  Authentication is the process of introducing equipment, operating system, application and user identity connected to a computer network. for example the user enter the username and password at login to the network.
§  Encryption (data confidentiality) is a data coding technique that can be useful for maintaining data.
§  VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a local communication network that can connect through network media. function of a separate VPN to obtain secure communications over the internet.
§  DMZ (De-Militerized Zone) serves to protect the internal system from hacker attacks.

                  PURPOSE :
The purpose of this proposal are:
• Secure the data
• Create system security
• It complicates password logging
• Use an antivirus application
• Avoiding dangerous networks
• Updating operating system

   Network Security Tips :
§  Use an AntiVirus that suits our needs to prevent a variety of computer viruses.
§  Using Password is very difficult to guess.
§  Update Computer, do not just update the anti virus it would be nice we also must update the software installed on our computer for computer security.
§  Do any Browsing habits of people usually visit pirated sites like mp3, pirated mp4. whereas there are pathogen viruses that can spread to our computer.
§  Make layers in layers.
§  Using UNIX / LINUX based operating system.

According to my research many systems are very fragile so easily broken through, so I think to be able to create a strong system. To create a strong security system we have to create a layer of security. Example: a class has 5 treasurers with the exact same book record, if one of the treasurers cheats he will get caught, because the change in the note in the other treasurer's book is not exactly the same.
We create multiple servers scattered in a particular country, and store data on that server, when someone tries to damage the server then automatically destroys itself and keeps your data secure, as your data is moved to another server.

When we have secured a network, do not forget to always be vigilant, because the bully will try to damage our network. Things we must consider in the Threat of Computer Networks are:
              • In PHYSICAL form
§  Computer hardware theft or
§  network devices
§  Damage to computers and network communication devices
§  Wiretapping
§  Natural disasters

               • In LOGIC form
§  Damage to the operating system or application
§  Viruses
§  Sniffing

Increasingly the development of technology in the world, so that will increase the destruction of the system for personal gain. So we choose which security we apply, to prevent intruders from damaging the computer network security system, use security as required by our network.

Data Warehouse And Discussion

1.  Understanding Data Warehouse

According to Innon 2002, h.31-35, Data warehouse is a subject-oriented, integrated, non-updatable, time-dimensional data collection used to support management processes in business decisions and intelligence.

2.  Data Warehouse Characteristics

There are 4 characteristics of data warehouse that is:
a. Subject-oriented
Data-oriented warehouse means data warehouse is designed to analyze data based on certain subjects in the organization, not on a particular application process or function
Integrated
Data Warehouse can store data from source- separate sources into a format that is consistent and integrated with each other so that the data can not be broken because the existing data is a unity that supports the whole concept of data warehouse itself
c Time Range (Time Variant)
All data in the data warehouse can be said to be accurate or valid within a certain time range. Data does not provide the current status, they are stored for five or ten years or more and are used for trends, forecasting and comparison. d.
Nonvolatile
means data in the data warehouse is not updated in real time but is refreshed from the operational system on a regular basis. New data is always added as a supplement to the database itself rather than as a change. The database continuously absorbs this new data, then incrementally merges with the previous data.

3.  Advantages of Data Warehouse

Building a data warehouse certainly provides more benefits for a company, as data warehouses can provide a strategic advantage to the company beyond their competitors.       Benefits are derived from several sources (Sean Nolan, Tom Huguelet):
1. Ability to access large data
2. Ability to have consistent data
3. Fast performance analysis capabilities
4. Recognize repeated results
5. Find gaps in business knowledge or business process.
6. Reduce administrative costs
7. Giving authority to all members of the company by providing them with the information needed for performance to be more effective.

4.  Destination Data Warehouse

1. Facilitate accessing company information
2. Providing company information consistently
3. Be able to adapt and withstand changes
4. Capable of securing Company information
5. Able to provide support in decision making
6. Can be accepted and operated well by the user

5.  Data Mechanism In Data Warehouse

Data warehouse has four levels of data (kimball, 2004), namely:
1. Level Operational
Level is specialized in storing application-oriented data in detail and prioritized to meet operational needs. Access at the operational level generally has a very high frequency. This level is often also referred to as OLTP (Online Analytical Transactional Processing)
2. Level Integration
This level stores the historical data are integrated and subject-oriented. Data at this level is simpler than the operational level and can not be updated.
3. Data level mart
This level is designed according to the needs of the user and is the data aggregation.
4. Individual Level
This level is where the analysis and reporting takes place. Data at this level are temporal, ad hoc, heuristic, and non-retitive.

6.  Process In Data Warehouse

Some of the processes that occur from the operational database to the data warehouse are as follows (corey, et al, 2001):
1. Conducting data extraction from various sources
2. Conducting data integration into a common place
3. Storing data in a format that can be used by the user
4. Provide mechanism for users to access data warehouse.

7.  Data Mart

Bill Inmon et al specify the data mart is a subset of the data warehouse that has been adjusted to fit the needs of the department.

8.  Metadata

Metadata is about the data set that already exists in the data warehouse program and operational data.

9.  ETL (Extraction Transformation Loading)

ETL is one of the processes in the data warehouse that involves reading data from the source, cleaning and adjusting the data format, writing the data into storage space for further use. (Songini, 2004).

10.  Online Analythical Processing (OLAP)

The first OLAP concept was proposed by EF Codd, to represent a multidimensional data model. OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) is a technology that processes data in a data warehouse in a multidimensional structure, providing quick answers to complex query analysis The
objective of OLAP is to coordinate large amounts of data, in order to be quickly analyzed and evaluated using means online such as Microsoft PivotTable as well as graphical representation. The OLAP system provides the speed and flexibility to support real-time analysis.
Data warehouses and OLAP (Online analytical Processing) provide the key to solving complex problems, as they are generally capable of providing consolidated and consistent, topic-oriented, historical and read-only data.

11.  Cube

Cube is a major part of OLAP. Cube contains a large collection of data that has been put together (in aggregation) thus speeding up the query results. For example, sales data that has been combined with time period data and type of goods, will speed up the query results to display sales data per week, or per month and based on certain types of goods. (Webb, et al., 2009)

12.  Data Warehouse Development

According to Kimball there are nine stages done to develop data warehouse database, among others:
1. Selection process
2. Selection of sources
3. Identify dimensions
4. Selection of facts
5. Saving pre-calculation in the fact table
6. Completing the dimension table
7. Selection duration table data
8. Tracing dimensional changes
9. Specify priority and query mode

13.  Data Warehouse Design

There are 2 approaches in creating data warehouse:
1. Star Scheme (Star Schema)
Following star shape. The star scheme consists of a fact table centered on a star with several dimensional tables (dimensional tables) surrounding it. All dimension tables are directly linked to the fact table.

2. Snowball Scheme The
snowball scheme is an extension of the star scheme with the addition of several dimension tables that are not directly connected to the fact table, but through other dimension tables.

a. Screen Layouts

Changing the Editor Type

c. Shortcut of Numpad

[1] Tampak Depan
[3] Tampak Kanan
[7] Tampak Atas
[2] Putar bawah 15 derajat
[8] Putar atas 15 derajat
[4] Putar Kiri “15derajat”
[6] Putar Kanan “15derajat”
[5] Orthographic atau Perspektif
[0] Camera Perspektif
[CTRL][2] Menggeser View Objek Ke atas
[CTRL][8] Menggeser View Objek Kebawah
[CTRL][4] Menggeser Objek Kesamping Kanan
[CTRL][6] Menggeser objek kesamping kiri

d. Snap 3D Cursor

Grab / Move [G]

  • [G]+[X]               : objek akan bergeser pada sumbu X.
  • [G]+[Y]               : objek akan bergeser pada sumbu Y.
  • [G]+[Z]               : objek akan bergeser pada sumbu Z.
  • [G]+[Shift ]+[X] : objek akan bergeser pada sumbu Y dan Z karena sumbu X telah dikunci                                     agar tidak berubah.
